Charity Kabango is a co-founder and Director of Entrepreneurial Solutions Partners. Raised in Canada, Charity has always maintained a connection to her native country of Rwanda. It was a passion for enabling prosperity in Rwanda and across Africa that led her choosing to be a part of the team of founding team of ESPartners.
Since being with ESPartners, Charity has contributed to key engagements in Haiti, East Africa and West Africa. In her client work she has supported leaders from the public, private and civil society. She has led a number of strategic planning engagements. In addition Charity has led a number of ESPartners’ core corporate and administrative functions including communications and recruitment.
Prior to joining ESPartners, Charity held a mix of consulting and engineering roles. Her consulting experience extends from leading public sector initiatives like the Kigali ICT Park to advising fortune 500 companies on risk management. While her engineering experience was focused on process and manufacturing experience. In both cases she is recognized for her ability to engage stakeholders and to facilitate the change management process.
Charity completed her Masters in Engineering and Public Policy at McMaster University with a focus on participatory planning, poverty and the environment. An electrical engineer trained at the University of Western Ontario, Charity also completed a bachelor degree in International Development.
Charity is a native English speaker with professional proficiency in French.
