Our Growth and Partnerships (G&P) team is responsible for driving the firm’s growth, leading on  opportunities identification and proposals preparation drawing on inputs from our senior leadership and  practice leads teams, as well as ESPartners’ proprietary methodologies. The team is responsible for  developing clients and partners’ relations. We also work closely with network partners – seasoned  experts in creative and cultural industries, regenerative and circular economies, carbon trading or green  investment vehicles, etc. 

In line with its targets, the G&P team aims to secure programs (multi-year, multi-million and recurring  initiatives) and projects (smaller, shorter engagements), mainly across West, East and Central Africa. 

ESPartners’ G&P team is also in charge of the firm’s corporate communication, both internal and external, and of the communication about the programs and projects.

Position overview 

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Communication & Brand Manager to join our G&P team in  Abidjan. This individual will play a key role in developing and implementing ESPartners’  communication strategy and brand positioning. 

Keys roles & responsibilities 

Communication and Brand Positioning 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategy (internal, external and institutional)
  • Ensure consistent ESPartners brand positioning across all channels
  • Manage corporate visual identity and brand guidelines
  • Develop and implement programs’ communication strategy

 

Content Strategy and Thought Leadership 

  • Design and execute content strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Develop thought leadership strategy to position ESPartners as industry reference ● Create engaging and relevant content for diverse audiences

 

Digital Presence and Campaign Management 

  • Design and implement innovative digital campaigns
  • Manage and optimize social media presence
  • Oversee website development and maintenance

 

Event Planning and Management 

  • Plan and manage corporate events, conferences and workshops
  • Coordinate participation in industry events
  • Ensure logistics and post-event follow-up

 

Content Developers and Consultants Oversight and Management 

  • Supervise and manage content developers and consultants
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners

 

Communication budgets 

  • Participate in communication budget setting exercice
  • Manage corporate and programs’ communication budgets 

 

Key Deliverables for 2026

  • Functional and lean website – Development of a modern and user-friendly platform
  • Functional intranet – Implementation of an effective internal communication system
  • Significant increase in ESPartners brand visibility and recognition
  • Operational content strategy and thought leadership framework
  • Team recruitment and processes

 

Qualifications 

Education and Experience 

  • Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in communication/marketing, ideally in consulting or development sector
  • Proven experience in brand management and digital strategy

 

Technical Skills 

  • Proficiency in digital communication tools and social media platforms
  • Knowledge of graphic design tools, including AI tools
  • Experience in web project management and content development
  • Analytical skills to measure campaign effectiveness

 

Interpersonal Skills 

  • Excellent writing skills in French and English
  • Leadership and team management capabilities
  • Creativity and strategic thinking
  • Ability to work in a multicultural and dynamic environment

 

Additional Assets 

  • Knowledge of entrepreneurship and development sector in Africa
  • Experience with international organizations (World Bank, AfDB, etc.)
  • Strong professional network in the African entrepreneurial ecosystem
