Position Overview and Responsibilities 

Reporting to Manager Insights, the successful candidate is an essential member of the team and actively  participates in projects. He/she is involved in documentary research, analyzes as well as in the  production and restitution of clients’ deliverables. 

At ESPartners, you will work on strategic issues and will benefit from the opportunity to participate in  briefings, working and feedback sessions with clients in the field. You will be exposed through the  various projects to the tools and methodologies developed and used by ESPartners.

You will collaborate on challenging projects with team members from many backgrounds and  disciplines, increasing your understanding of complex problems from diverse perspectives and  developing new skills and experience to help you at every step of your career—at ESPartners and  beyond. You will receive exceptional training as well as frequent coaching from teams.  

You will work within a multicultural team with different profiles, playing an active role in all aspects of  client engagement: this includes gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing  hypotheses, and developing and communicating recommendations. 

You will also have the opportunity to present results to clients’ management and implement  recommendations in collaboration with clients’ team members. 

More specifically, you will participate in:

• Review of literature. 
• Data collection and data manipulation and analysis – survey, interviews, focus groups;
• Production of data sets and presentations against our objectives / deliverables;
• Preparation of briefings, working and feedback sessions; 
• Case study / benchmark conception; 
• Writing of final reports. 
• Identification of new business opportunities and the writing of proposals and presentation to  clients 

Required Qualifications 

• Master’s degree in economics, Statistics, Finance or any other related field • 1 to 2 years of professional experience in a strategy consulting firm (would be an asset) 
• Demonstrated career trajectory – evidence of taking on larger responsibilities and/or more senior  roles (even during your undergrad); 
• Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis; 
• Demonstrated aptitude for strategy consulting, data analysis, economic modeling and/or  competitiveness;  
• Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing;
• Ability to transform complex data in to easily digested actionable insight; 
• You are meticulous and pay attention to detail; 
• You are a solid team player who’s also an independent thinker; 
• Deadline-driven, organized and able to multitask; 
• Strong presentation skills; 
• Endless curiosity and a penchant for challenging the impossible; 
• Strong computing skills (Word processing, PowerPoint and Excel);
• Good knowledge of statistical software (CSPRO, STATA, SPSS, SPAD)
• Good knowledge of data collection platforms (Surveymoney, SurveyCTO)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; 
• Ability to build relationships with various stakeholders.
