Position Overview

• Coordinate the implementation of projects in the agriculture/agribusiness sector. Key objectives: Supervise agri/agro project managers. Create synergies between the various projects in the portfolio. Directly manage one of the projects in the portfolio.Coordinate the implementation of projects in the agriculture/agribusiness sector.

Duties and Responsibilities

Supervision of project managers

• Coordinate the definition of work plans.
• Ensure the follow-up of reporting for each project.
• Support the resolution of operational issues.

Creating synergies

• Analyze the dynamics of the different projects.
• Propose and implement synergies (market, distribution, training, sourcing).
• Monitor the implementation of synergies to ensure effective results.

Direct management of a project

• Develop the implementation strategy.
• Form the project team and manage relationships with stakeholders.
• Use and develop project management tools.
• Monitor the schedule and adhere to constraints.
• Ensure coordination during implementation and measure success using performance indicators.e.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in managing complex project portfolios.
• Mastery of project management methodologies (PMI, Prince2, Agile).
• Skills in team management and communication.
• Good knowledge of the socio-economic environment in West Africa.
• Excellent relationship management with stakeholders.
• Ability to manage stress and solve problems.
• Organization, rigor, and analytical mindset.
• Bilingual in French/English.

Education and experience

• Master’s degree (Bac +5) in project management, management, or a related field.
• Certification(s) in project management (PMP, Prince2, etc.).
• Proven experience in the agriculture/agri-food sector (consulting, industry, Delivery Unit, or entrepreneurship).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
